Our Services and More Information
Appointments
We ask that all patients make an appointment prior to coming to our office by calling 704-403-6900. At that time, please let us
know the nature of your appointment so that we allow sufficient time for your visit. All patient appointments are scheduled
during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our staff will make every effort to schedule a time
that is convenient for you.
Before your first visit, we will mail a medical history and insurance form to you. Please bring these completed forms and any
medications you are taking to your appointment. It is important that you keep us updated on changes to your insurance,
address, work and phone numbers.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please notify our office as soon as possible so we may adjust our schedule
accordingly. Although we make every effort to minimize your waiting time, sometimes patient emergencies will cause our
physicians to be out of the office. We will try to let you know if there may be a delay in your scheduled appointment.
Patients who require surgery may first need to meet with a physician and/or the surgery coordinator. After the patient fully
understands all aspects of the recommended treatment, our office will schedule surgical arrangements.
Payment Policy
We request that full payment or co-payment, if applicable, for all office visits, services and related tests is made at the time
services are rendered. Please remember that payment of medical services is your responsibility and the agreement with your
insurance company to pay medical costs is a contract between you and that company.
Insurance claims will be filed for most office and hospital surgical procedures. Patient deductibles and co-payments however,
are due at the time of service. Patients will then be billed any remaining balance after the insurance company payment is
received by our practice. We welcome any questions you may have about our fees or insurance system.
Hospitalization
The physicians of Concord Women's Specialty Care are part of NorthEast Physician Network and maintain full admitting
privileges at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. In most instances where hospitalization is recommended, our office will make
all pre-admission arrangements. Be sure to let us know if your insurance company requires prior approval or pre-certification
before hospitalization.
